Cluster voltage drops and resets. Random ABS, Brake and Airbag lights

Actually, I experienced some of the same things. My interior lights would randomly illuminate at night and the A/C controls would change themselves. This video looks very similar to the issues I had. I'll upload the video I took so you can compare. Swapping the ignition switch didn't do squat...

A/C issue related to Fan clutch?

I'm going to follow this thread. I fixed my clutch "air gap" issue, but the A/C doesn't get cold for 3-4 minutes after startup. After that, it's nice and chilly on the freeway, but around town it can struggle to stay cold.

So if there was a TSB for the early model wavy bumper fix....

Hmm. What's the alternative, taking it off? Mine used to rattle until I beat the shit out of it with a sledge. No more rattle. ;)

WOW...new control arms and ball joints!!

Could you post the part numbers you purchased? I have the same strange squeaks in my 218k mile Bravada. Sounds like a stuck pig. But only sometimes. Ah wait...I found that you can just buy the LCA brackets for a lot less...nice!

    Air ride compressor output???

Yep, that's low. I have measured 80 psi on mine.

I'm a EE...it's also "more on the electrical side".

AC cuts off over 45 MPH

I'm an engineer, so I tend to be logically-driven. I reached from the top down. I'm 6' 3" and my wingspan is 6' so I often take my ability to stretch/reach for granted. There is a steel tube which blocks access from the bottom, so top-down was my only option without further disassembly.

AC cuts off over 45 MPH

Well...I just explained how I did it. I think if you want to replace the bearing you need to fit a puller in there - which probably won't fit without taking the fan out. But nothing is keeping you from trying! I removed the clutch face by hand - no pulling. It was a little worn, but...

AC cuts off over 45 MPH

I am mechanically inclined, but I certainly don't prefer to wrench around on cars. That said, I finally got the courage to go tackle this problem...and I fixed it in 10 minutes. 5 minutes of that was finding something suitable to hold the clutch face still while I unbolted it. I grabbed a...

I think the extreme heat is getting to me. I was using my credentials to log into the forum, NOT the posted logins. :rotfl:

Need service manuals? Get them here!

The guys in suits and I are tight. Not worried about that. ;) But...I still can't DL from home. So...not sure why it doesn't work. Do I have to have a minimum number of posts?

Hmm, I can't seem to download the files. Credentials entered...several times. I'm behind a proxy at work, could this be to blame?

The fan shroud. I'm not sure I'll have enough clearance if I leave the fan and shroud in place.
