Alright so, i replaced the front hub and it's still making a shearing noise. What does the other side of the CV connect to? I think that's bad.

Since i first got my TB there has been the horrid shearing sound from the front left wheel area. It sounds like it wpuld be a wheel bearing, but the guy i bought it from said it's the C.V. axle and I've never heard a C.V. make this noise. Does anybody have insight for me?

Im not sure if i was reading these right, but if my TB has a tow package, does it already have an aux trans cooler?

I was looking around on here for possibilities of putting a supercharger on my EXT and after reading the guy that put a cobra supercharger in his( huge props by the way) back in 2013, i got a little discouraged, Then i came across these. Has anybody on here gotten one, or know anything about them?

Sorry, it has 190k. From what you say, it's pretty sound running. I'll have to check fluids today. Im going all the way down to corpus Christi I'm sure i can talk the convoy into a side stop seems how there will be at least two other TB's that plan to beat the hell out their trucks like ibplan to.

I do plan to beat the hell out of it.

I only know how well it was maintained from the person i bought it from, i do onow the engine was already replaced. Thats about it.

It will be going from Washington to Texas with a few wheeling side stops. I want to make sure it'll make it through everything

I've been reading that the stock transmissions are kinda weak, i was wondering if anybody has installed or knows of better transmissions than the 4L60.

Yesterday i swapped my rear dif to match the front, went from 3.42 gears to 3.73 gears. This morning i did a reset and drove it around to test the 4x4.

UPDATE: disconnected the battery and pulled the 4x4 fuse for 30 minutes plugged it all back in and se was good to go. Selector lit up, switched it to 4HI and everything engaged. THANK YOU EVERYBODY!! Now i just need to get the speedo part squared away and she'll be good to go.

Yes, i have a service 4x4 light, sorry, i should've included that to the OP. Thanks for the info, im going to download them now.

So a reset should do the trick? I do have a spare tccm as well.
