    Sudden fuel gauge issue....

OK this thread sounds like what I have to deal with. My 2007 Trail Blazer has started doing strange things with the fuel gauge. It will signal empty (low) when I have half a tank and will move 1/4 tank up or down in just a few blocks driving. Where do I find out about GM splitting the cost for...

    Right Turn Signal

Hey it may be something simple like a solder joint and I may tear into the module and see what it is made of!! In the meantime, I just decided to bite the bullet and get a new module. I found one on Amazon for $28 and change with free shipping so I ordered it. It came in a couple of days and...

    Right Turn Signal

Well so much for clean and reinsert the module. I took a drive and the signals worked for about five turns and then quit. Guess I am in the market for a flasher module. Hope that will cure the problem. John

    Right Turn Signal

Well OK, I roughed up the pins on the module and sprayed a bunch of CRC QD Electronic Contact cleaner in the plug holes. When I plugged the module back in the turn signal is now working. I am hoping that it was just a bad connection (and thus saves me a bunch of money LOL). Time will tell but...

    Right Turn Signal

Humm Roadie, I figured out a way to pull the module without breaking my back (I'm 79 and getting a bit stiff for this stuff) because I wanted to make sure that it did not have a bad (corroded) contact pins. The pins all look fine. Low and behold the module number is quite different from the...

    Right Turn Signal

Ah ha. Thanks Roadie, Now I'm wondering if I have the right part# for the unit. The one I have is GM 12450284. It is labeled 2/4-W/OPT Trailering and I do have the trailer package on my Trailblazer.

    Right Turn Signal

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem. I wonder just what the lighting control module is?? Are we talking about the flasher?? Thanks

    Rear Wiper Not Working ?

Dozer22, The fuse (which is called a circuit breaker on the wiring diagram) is under the rear seat. It is #9. John

    Rear Wiper Not Working ?

Thanks Chuck, Testing the motor is the next thing on my list but Roadie in an earlier post says that the motor is shot in only about 10% of the dead rear wiper problems. In any case, if it is the motor gone south, I will probably hit the junk (oops I mean salvage) yard first for a replacement...

    Rear Wiper Not Working ?

Thanks Roadie, I was able to download the "official" 2007 wiring diagram from this site and I will have to decipher it Am I correct that the motor will only run if it receives a proper signal on the speed control wire (line E which is dark green)??? It looks like the orange wire (C) should...

    Rear Wiper Not Working ?

OK, I have exactly the same problem with the rear wiper (dead??). Fuse #9 is not blown and looking at the wires in the lift gate hinge boot does not show any that are broken. I guess the next move is to expose the wiper motor and put a meter on it. Anyone have hints as to how to get down to the...
