with the tailgate swung open. did you push on the lock mechanisms, make sure they click. then hit unlock, the lock mechanism should go back to original position.

did you try swapping the touch pads to make sure? if its not the pads maybe its the driver side upper or lower door latch. i had the driver side upper latch not locking/latching when i close the the gate. with the tailgate closed, when i accelerate from a stop, i get a "Tailgate Ajar" in the...

For Sale: 2.5 MarkMC Lift/Level Z71 Rear springs BDS 55619 Rear shocks its all used for a couple months. I am in Canada.

i have the front and rear powerstop x-drilled and slotted rotors with z16 pads together with the red powdercoated calipers, was nice at the beginning. not even a year after they start squealing like brakes on a bus. my front pads are almost gone.

i'd say ebay if your in the US, but i bought mine from the dealer for $46 CAD each. I bought two for $92 CAD. i figured the tailgate is dismantled, might as well replace both switches and keep the working one as a spare to save me some hassle.
