The box I got is supposed to work with the anti theft but i have never messed with this sort of thing its a prestige APS-620N will I still need an interface and if it does lock it up what will I have to do

I have been doing some research on installing a remote start system on trailblazers and have most of my wireing mapped out but I heard of the theft lock disabling the vehicle sometimes when you use remote start I just want to make sure I don't lock it up any idea?

My check engine light has been on for a while for coolant temp below regulated operating temp. Its not overheating so I don't worry too much but it is annoying I cleared the code several times some times the light will come right back on and sometimes it won't until the next day. The other day...

I had an engine tick and found out one of the bolts on the back side of the exhaust manifold was broken and pushed part of the gasket out just the head of the bolt snapped off it sounds a lot like yours

I have a 96 Silverado that had the 5.7l vortec in it but I spun all the bearings in the cam and crank beyond repair so I dropped a 1980 carb 5.7l with a 2 speed powerglyde on the back of it. That's the only other engine I had to put in it it was a pretty easy conversion.

Until the wheels fall off then I will put them back on and drive it some more hahaha

I plan to replace my brake pads and rotors soon does anyone suggest any particular brand or type I will also be doing a complete fluid flush.

I had the same problem and when the abs would kick in it would be hard to stop sometimes I just replaced the entire hub bearing with a moog part it came with new sensor. I had no other abs issues after that.

No its stock pan I cleaned the mag in the pan it has 219000mi I also changed the seals on the trans cooler on the radiator they were leaking a bit

I matched the filters up when I got the old one out to make sure I got the right one the new gasket was rubber and I made sure none of the old cork gasket got into the filter I added 6 qt it was a bit over when hot but it terribly overcooked I cleaned the mag pan and mating surfaces with brake...

Yea I check it when its warmed up and the engine is idle it does act like yours was sometimes its just erratic
