    Stalls on slow sharp turn.

the rack was replaced just over a year ago so I'm leaning toward the TB. Thanks guys, I know we also have to replace the valve cover gaskets (leaking) and so it wouldn't surprise me if it just all needs a damn good clean up.

    Stalls on slow sharp turn.

Having a small problem that I want to figure out. Just recently our 03 Envoy will stall on a sharp turn. Mostly backing up and not all the time. Some of my research suggests there is a sensor that tells the engine to increase power when under a load. Does any one know where I can find that...

Too much play in Steering Wheel

That sound like what I was reading. Hopefully we can wait till it's a bit warmer. I don't relish the idea of working on it in the cold. This is part of what I found about a quick fix, but I'm sure you're right it's more of a truck problem. "Pretty common problem. I redid my entire front end...

Too much play in Steering Wheel

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. Here's the problem. There is too much play in my steering wheel. Last night, we replaced the DS tie rod and the hub on that side. This morning I took it in for an alignment. The repairs were needed anyway but I thought it would also cure the sloppy...

Newtown Connecticut...small world and another sad day

all I could do was cry yesterday. I thought of my grandsons. How young they are and how much they love school. To think of them to be suddenly gone. It would break my heart. I couldn't imagine the inconsolable pain the parents and families are in. As far as gun controls go, I'm Canadian and I...

Drivers door module and memory seats

haven't tried beating the door to see if there is a change but I do have a plan. If hubby doesn't get on it, then I'll switch keys and he can have fun adjusting every day lol :rotfl: Right now as soon as I press the fob to open the stupid seat moves from the position I had just put it in...

Drivers door module and memory seats

This is something I am definitely going to look into. The number 2 hasn't worked since we bought it and with me being a shorty it drives me crazy having to reset the seat every time I get in. Will put the man and boy on it next warm (warm enough lol) day.

    A dumb drainage question.

ok , no cycling on and off (so that's a good thing lol) I'll do the easiest and clean the drain to see if there is any crud. You know something? that makes a lot of sense. On our trip to Myrtle beach my feet were freezing because although everything was off, there was still cold air coming...

    A dumb drainage question.

Well it's not cold enough for the AC (as a matter of fact I have the heat on!) but the drain hose next to the ac hoses on the firewall is dripping especially after a rain. It leads me to believe there are leaves and crud getting in. Is it difficult to remove the cowling (assuming that's what the...

    The new beasty :)

I was looking too, (haven't checked the glove box) but I think you're right. There is only one dark grey with metallic for the 2003 so it must be it. Oh and those new shock thingies for the lift gate work extremely well. Went groceries shopping and if you can picture a kid swinging on a rope...

    The new beasty :)

it's a 2003 with 164 k when we got it, we added another 3500 k with the Myrtle beach trip. From what we can tell it came from Toronto and had all work done to it. We checked the oil when we went to test drive it and it looked freshly changed. it wasn't the lot that did it because apparently they...

    The new beasty :)

Thanks guys :) We are still running like crazy. My ex had a stroke before we left and 2 more since, They were suppose to move asap, but he's still in hospital so it fell on my 23 year old son to help out. Add in the waiting factor for money from IE to help out since he can't work or drive so we...

    The new beasty :)

first off, let me apologize for not posting sooner but we jumped into cleaning, and tweaking and packing. She was certified but I wanted more so we had a 110 point inspection done. She passed with flying colors. So we were off on our delayed trip to Myrtle beach (from Hamilton Ontario). Before...
