I removed the cluster after watching a couple of Youtube videos. Relatively easy job, but you should have a magnetic grabber cause you're gonna drop a couple of the screws down under the cluster. I just sent mine off to a repair service on Ebay. They replaced all the lights and stepper motors...

Thanks for that information. I just checked to make sure and the light on the indicater is dim and dims even more when I dim the lights. Can you tell me exactly where the info is regarding repairing it? I am handy with a soldering iron but I am not sure about getting at the connection.

So the indicator that shows what gear I am in is dim. Sometimes, depending on ambient light, I can hardley see it. All the other dash lights work fine, just this one. Since there is no indicater where the shifter is (like every other freaking car in the universe,) this problem is very annoying...

What size are the fittings you got? Does a lot of fluid leak out when you are replacing the fittings?

I don't know what this is but it is leaking. Looking at the motor from front, it is on the right side, just right of PCM. It has two metal tubes going into the front of it and two coming out the back. It is the rusty part under the corrugated grey tube. Any help is appreciated. This is an 05 TB...

I got the clip off after much cursing. I examined the contacts on the switch, they looked a little bad. Actually the worse one was the normally open set. I don't know what that does but my lights and cruise control work fine. I changed out the switch with a new one. It was just too...

Can we deduce from this schematic that the TCC contacts are normally open? If so, the contact that controls TCC would be the top one in picture from TJBaker57?

Another wrinkle. I just discovered I have adjustable brake pedal. Does this somehow affect this whole process. Hey, don't laugh at me, I've only owned the TB for 11 years!

Thanks for that great picture. Does the switch come apart easily? When you reassembled it did it seem like it wouldn’t come apart? Maybe a little glue? Zip ties?

Sometimes, infrequently, my shifter refuses to budge. It only happens every two or three weeks and then is normal. I start the TB, try to move the shifter to D or R, and it doesn't move. I have to jiggle it, pull harder, say a little prayer and then it will move. I checked the brake light...

I just did this and lucked out, it was the idler pulley, a pretty easy fix. I could tell immediately when I spun the pulley after removing belt. I could hear the scratchy bearing noise loud and clear I am still thinking of changing out the belt though. It only has about 30k miles but it...
