Have 2 cross bars looking to sell. Asking $40 OBO. There are in great shape. Removed from truck with 18k miles. No longer have truck and no longer need. Let me know if interested. Local sale in metro Detroit area preferred but will ship with shipping costs added to sale.

Hopefully it'll be longer than 500miles that it lasted the first time or I'm gonna have to get a whole new trans. The wife will totally not be happy with that.

So did you determine what that noise was from? Sway bar or strut mounts?

Thanks man your my new best friend! I asked a local trans shop and they also said I should be alright like this too. Hopefully Dana will agree too and I can move on with this long project. I consider myself very very lucky. Thanks again.

worried about my servo retainer ring issue.

Kawaholic could you do me a huge favor and ask Dana what I should do with the ring with the case being partially broke off. I think its the part between the 2 original cut outs so as it is now theres just one opening in the full circle, if that makes sense to you.

I just read today on "s10forum" that the ends should be placed in the 1030 position and stay away from the 3 and 6 position with the ends. So yeah I would say that would be right kawaholic.

Well im wondering now if open ends should be in groove or should they be in the opening of the cracked off piece now. I have driven a few miles now with ring engs in opening but not sure which way they should be. Im hoping I can get away with what little piece has broken off.
