Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

Bought all the parts, never went through with it, and sadly the TB drive off to greener pastures on Friday as I traded it in for a 2018 Durango GT. I'll miss all the mods I did do, and great times the TB gave me, but the mechanical issues became too many.

Thanks, I will give this a shot.

    Codes P0128 and P420

Reviving this thread because, well I can. Had a lot of work done on my TB in the last few months for a variety of issues. Included in them were, of course 0128 and 0420. Replaced the thermostat and alternator (since I had to remove it anyway, and it is probably the original). The 0128 has...

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

Thanks Sparky, I was pretty sure that was the case the more I read into it, just wanted to double check!

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

Ok, so I kinda stalled my project last year. Tried to sort out a few details, and I think I came up with a pretty good solution. Updated my schematic with the clarified details. Steps Done Towards Install 1) Purchased the Novita LM486 LED Flasher module to help avoid Hyperflash. I was not...

Male Connector On Tail Light Board

Thanks!! Narrowing it down now, I just have to decide if I want to get a pre-made pigtail unit with the correct connector, or just get the connector and go from there!!

Male Connector On Tail Light Board

Ok, so after finding a post in this thread, I the previously mentioned links are Pigtail combinations, the actual CONNECTORS themselves, may be Delphi GT 150 or GT 280. I guess the internals are the difference, inside the connector.

Male Connector On Tail Light Board

Edit: May have found some more information in this post here. So I have found that the wiring connector that goes from the vehicle TO the tail light board is either an AC Delco PT1554, or PT1555. I am doing a Mod (if I ever get around to it), as seen here in this thread, and I want to directly...

Sparky, thank you for your reply!! I am glad I am not completely off-base here! I am going to reply to your individual points in-line with your quote.

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

Ok, I think I got it all in here! It is a hodgepodge, I apologize in advance, but I hope it is readable, and I will be happy to clarify any question. Hopefully you gurus can look this over and let me know if I am off my rocker, or kinda have my marbles together haha!! If the image is too...

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

So after pondering over and over and over for HOURS at work the other night, I think I came upon a different, and more practical solution for wiring this all up! In doing so I can accomplish Quad S/T/T, in addition to the Warning light function! I will draw up a diagram tonight while at work...

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

Thanks for the clarification/reminder! I make sure to double and triple check everything I do on here first, and read through as I go. Thankfully the one wire I needed from the BCM was a signal wire to my device, and no need to apply current TO it!

Full Tail Replacement with LED HAW's

No more work accomplished since my last post, as winter was delayed here in NY, and eventually hit, now that weather is improving, I hope to get some more of this work started!

    DFWWIZ Cree/Philips LED headlights

See that's what I am/was afraid of. Swapping them in and out with regular bulbs seasonally would be a PITA, and as much as I want to.... I have a 22" fleaBay LED off-road bar wired in relay to my high-beams as is, so I get some decent coverage with high-beams.

    DFWWIZ Cree/Philips LED headlights

So I have wanted to buy a pair of the LED headlamps for a while, but my biggest concern, living where I do, is ice/snow buildup in the winter. Since the heat output does not exist like from standard bulbs, has anyone encountered problems with headlamp obstruction from a buildup of snow or ice...
