Ya know what?... I did get a stroke of bad luck with getting a bum alternator right out of the box, but the main problem, believe it or not, was the damn connector. I'd look at it, swear it was fine, plugged it off and on a LOT of times during that process. It was fooling me. It was just not...

Yep. Thanks, Dan. That's why I said that mine turned out to "luckily" be the return line. My pump did run dry several times over the last couple weeks while I had the leak (dry enough to whine), but hopefully it didn't take on any serious damage. Guess time will tell.

Well, finally got around to attacking my leak yesterday. Was about 28 degrees out, but, we haven't been getting much better than that, so off we go... First, I unbolted the brackets on both sides of the engine that keep the AC line in place, then bungee'd it out of the way as much as possible...

Recently, the heat will intermittently, just not blow air. When it does come on, once it's running, it works normally and stays working.....but if you turn it off and back on, or turn the truck off and back on, sometimes it will come on, sometimes it won't. You have to keep playing with it...

Yeah, I spent a lot of time out in this cold over the last few weeks, diagnosing and working on an electrical problem on my TB, and doing some other things. I'm done, until it warms up a little. Worst winter ever.
