I'm using the pcm that came with the motor. Only reason I'm not using mine is because its junk.

So acouple months ago I had to change motors. Once I got them swamped I had a no crank no start condition. I've read everything I could find on here and looked at "what I thought was everything"! Today I finally looked at the bcm. Once I unhooked the top connector the interior lights came on...

Its October 31,2020 I'd love to read about the ls v8 swap. Please get on here and post update/pics/videos. I have a 2006 gmc envoy 4.2L that just blew a rod out of the block. Now after reading your thread I'm very interested on a parts list and a range of money spent..
