The original AdBlock doesn't work anymore however I now use uBlock origin with FireFox. Hasn't failed me yet.

Since this is not an issue with our site, I've moved this to an appropriate category. However, There is always going to be a way to circumvent the attempts of ad-serving companies, it's all about how inconvenient it is to the end-user.
