Brake Controler

I have a 2005 Trailerblazer LT that I just installed a brake controller in but for some reason I'm not getting power to it. I have the red trailer wire plugged in under the fuse box and getting 14v there.

This is how I installed the wires

brake controller side blue to blue Chevy side
black to orange
white to black
red to teal greenish color


I did check the orange wire for power on the Chevy side and there was no power there. Not sure what would cause there not to be power on the orange wire.

Did you check the underhood fuse block? Could be a blown or missing fuse as there is one for electric brakes. In my '05 manual, it is fuse 19 for both engines.

Thanks for the info. It helped a lot. The brake controller fuse was blown.
