So for the past few days ive noticed that when I go out to my truck to grab something or to take my lunch break, that the High Beam light is illuminated on my cluster. everything is off, lights are off, haven't even unlocked the truck yet. Anyone else experienced anything like this?

FYI... Your Public Profile has No Vehicle Year-Make-Model relevant Data...so this Video is just a generic response to your issue from someone suffering with this identical problem with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The VOP (Video Original Poster) followed up in his comments that he solved this problem by replacing his REAR Tail Light Assemblies with New Bulbs and the problem disappeared... apparently due to a hidden Electrical Short in the system.

Before you decide to do what he did, I suggest that you either pull the "Stop Lamp Assemblies" Fuses servicing the Rear Tail Light Assemblies ...or unplug them both and see if this has any affect on the High Beam Dash Light going out and staying OFF afterwards. Hope this Helps:

If your Vehicle is either Trailblazer or an Envoy, the Rear Light Assemblies run around $15.00 per Module and have a history of Short Circuits and Melting happening... possibly affecting something in the BCM under the Rear Driver's Side Under Seat BCM & Fuse Box. These Informative (and humorous) Videos covers how to solve this problem with the replacement of Fuses as needed and the R&R of the errant TL Modules:

..and THIS One from the same Dude:

If the Head Lights also come on mysteriously... Another possibility is a having a FUBARed Under Hood Power Distribution Center Junction-Fuse Block due to a Short Circuit in the assembly Circuit Board as diagnosed and solved in this Video.

If you have ANY Aftermarket Hardware and Stuff installed... these Damned Things may also be involved, as Non-Standard Wiring attachments can "Throw a Monkey in The Electrical Wrench" like at the Nakatomi Plaza in the Movie "Die Hard" (Sears 12 Volt Battery Pun Intended here):
