Anyone in FL know anything about Destin or Fort Walton area. Goin on a family vaca in mid July was wondering if anyone knew of any "secret" things to do. Or good food places to eat/drink at.

Yeah def a beautiful place, took my gf there acouple years ago but didn't really leave the beach. I'll have my kids this time around so was hopeing for some input on something other than the beach. They are 6 & 8 yrs old...the beach will be good for a bit but they will want to do more lol. And I always like good food joints.

There is a water park in that area. That is all I know of other than beaches.
