Yep, Happy Canada Day! Also the start of my 2 week vacation. Going on annual trip up north to Bear Lake and yep there's bears there. Had one last year kept coming around. Have a great day everyone!

Yep, we were a Dominion. Remember when the maps of the world had all of the British possessions coloured pink (it was about 1/2 of the world when I went to school, hehe.

We could stage an re-enactment of the War of 1812 to get VS out of Toronto, hehe

Speaking of the war of 1812, I tried a commemorative (the march of the NB 104 Foot Regiment, from Fredericton NB to Kingston ON during the winter of 1813) beer yesterday from one of our craft brewers

Been away on some business trips and now at the campground each weekend at our trailer. Doing as much boating as possible while we are there as well.
Offer and invitation is always open to all to stop by at the campground and "meet" (and maybe boat)
That and I have also been building this in my basement over the winter.

Thanks, Lots of time and effort went in to it. Still not quite finished. Stage area is for karaoke, drum set, couple of guitars (electric) bass guitar and keyboard. Few more things to put up and some illuminated signs. Fully open and opening weekend will be after the campground closes in October. Sorry the photos are fuzzy. I have some better ones I will post soon.
