FEEDBACK I'm OOTL. Are car forums dead?

What's good? A few weeks ago I went down mammary lane and was shocked to see that the forums (car related) were dead. Keep in mind, 10 years had gone by, and it was several forums, so that's why I was shocked. They even shut the the thunderdome on caraudio dot com which was bad until the guy who went to the creepy place at 5am bumped his own thread.

I get that these trucks get older and people either sell them or hook up a turbo at 39psi of boost (mah kahn rods), but based off of market research (me speculating) maybe they aren't necessarily dead. Maybe they need a resurrection.

Also, theres a cat from NY on here whose name might be Javi and we met twice.....yo was that you on live?

Hey @MAY03LT I think I'm the only Javi on this site from NY that I'm aware of. My user name on utube is JavierSuarez9416. I've been on a few times while u were live but I don't recall having conversation.

Well, there are still some out there, but they are dwindling. I closed my CarForum website last year, A-Body.Net. It used to be a good site, with lots of people on it. Then as the cars got older, and no one really owned them anymore (including myself), it just didnt get any traffic any more.

The only ones that seem to be left are on Facebook with lots of Karens and Darrens.

Kids don't know what forums are and just go on FB where you have umpteenth groups for the same subject. Can't find dick in there. But yeah, forums are a dying breed, just like our GMT360/370. Has anyone looked over at ORTB? It's literally tumbleweeds in there. I'm surprised it's still up. I wonder if we should try and merge with it because it will disappear one day like the Vortec4200 site.

Man that is a darn shame. I never found a forum that had the mixture of 14.7 parts informative and 1 part fun then TV slash GMTN.

I just checked ortb, didn't know flipping UCAs was a thing lol.

That's a shame about facebook. I was friends with Prodigy (from QB, not the techo band) on myspace it was WILD.
