What states that your bulb is a t5? 921 bulbs use the same base as a 194/168 and they're t10 also. The "t-x" numbers are what base it uses.Bscfrank914 said:

Go to a junk yard and get a busted set of LS headlights. Get them open, retrofit the reflector bowls, and get them aligned on your truck. That's the hardest and most time consuming part. $300 for hi beams is quite pricey, but holy $hit those things are bright. I was surprised to see how small they are, but yet produce 3000 lumen a piece. His ice cube test was pretty cool. Yeah price is up there but quality is through the roof. The guy has his own CNC and cuts the bodies out of aluminum and the drivers were custom made for his needs etc etc etc that's why they're so expensive lol.
Keep in mind, different people have different missions. Most of the people on HIDP don't drive SUVs or trucks, let alone offroad built rigs. So a 60 LED light bar isn't an option for them, they have to have something small and compact like that. Otherwise they would end up squarely in our Worst Appearance Mods thread
Seems step for triple crees going inside a housing so needing less of its own housing than a bar would.

I'm all in for reading about those lights but $150 is too much for me too when I could get two or three (or even more) cheap bars for the same/less price.I personally like the small compact design of it. Price aside, 3000 lumen is quite a bit for how small they are. Like Carlton said, this design will appeal to enthusiasts outside of the offroad community. Hell the guy had two of them mounted to his motorcycle/dirt bike. Cannot do that with a large light bar and not look goofy.
We could 'discuss' the perceived value of mods until the cows come home, eat, shit, get bored and leave again. Whether it be guys spending $1500-2000 on rims (yes Kyle we're well aware of your feelings towards all black ones); thousands on amps, batteries, speakers and subwoofers; thousands on go-fast parts; who knows how much on lifts, off roading suspension, big tires, armor and recovery gear; or hundreds in projector retrofits. As long as no one is putting themselves or others in danger, what's the big deal?
I don't see a big deal. Seems my initial comment on no light being worth $150 to me struck a nerve. Still feel that way, but really do not care what someone else wants to do. I do like to help ensure they know of all the other options though.
We are all very aware that there are many options for LED light bars out there. We are commenting on the one specific light bar that Carlton posted. We are not selling it nor are we telling people to buy it. Its a new and interesting design that someone took upon themself to create and share. Everyone knows how you feel about this light bar as you have posted the same thing four times.

For my purposes, I have been thinking about putting a set in my overhead console (where the EXT window switches should go) so that way I can have a sunglasses holder AND dome lights in my overhead console.
At $5 a pop, this would be cheaper than buying a new overhead console (especially one with homelink and sunroof) with lights and then ordering an led conversion for it.
Additionally, they seem to work well as puddle lights, but I don't think I could bring myself to drill into the bottom of my new mirrors like this.

So searching for some smd strips to line my cluster when i change out the gauge face to get rid of the hot spots... i found that some sellers have 7020 smd strips.. only been able to find them in white though through my little bit of searching. but has anyone tried these yet? wonder how bright they are compared to the 5630 or the 5050 smd's..
