Nav unit water damage?

Having a (cd error) on my 15800000 nav unit. Opened it up and found this. Pic attached. Water damage? Moisture? Burn marks? Anyone have any idea what it is?

There's rust on a few pieces so definitely water damage is a possibility.

bought the unit used, its out of a 07 trailblazer ss, guy told me everything worked, now gotta find out if this is causing my cd error problem or is it my nav cd. hmm

Does it play regular CD's?
