I know most of you guys have so much more by way of audio in your TB's and Voys... but I am tickled pink!! My Voy is an 06 XL Denali, which had the CD/ Cassette w/ Bose unit... and I wanted more.. so I did a little research on Crutchfield, and got lucky and came across a used Pioneer AVH-P8400BH head unit.. and the local installer had the adaptors needed to retain Bose/Onstar/Chimes, antenna adaptor, as well as Steering wheel controls.. and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.. now to get the amp and sub, and I'm set :-)

Thanks to the people on this forum, or I would've never even thought of exchanging out the head unit..

Peace

Nice unit

I'm scared to swap out my deck to something more modern like yours since it's the only one that I've owned that doesn't skip when playing cds.

What is a CD?

Back in my day, we used to play casset...oh no you didn't :raspberry:

When I can get my ipod to sound as good as a cd, I'll make the change

Good question....ever since I got my clarion headunit I have been running the ipod non stop.

LOL.. funny thing.. my Son actually brought out a cassette and made sure the OEM player still worked.... it did.. LOL

I know I love this unit now.. hopefully it will continue to perform.. Thanks all... Happy Easter :-)

CD? "Confounded Device"? Cassette? sounds like its a VD.
I prefer the quality of my HI Fi Quadrophonic 8Track player in stereo! Hell I can even fast forward the tape and it never ends! :raspberry:
