What is the best way to get to the hose clamp on the thermostat housing? It's buried under wire looms and the PCM

Unbolt the PCM? It's internally grounded correct? .....so I shouldn't have to worry about disconnecting the battery?

I have 4x4 so working from underneath might be tough. Thank for any info.

When I had to change my t-stat, I removed the wheel, and went through the wheel well. Bit of a tight squeeze for someone tall with long arms, but I managed. Plus it was MUCH easier on my back, than leaning over the fender and trying to reach down there. I was able to reach in with a pair of channel locks to pinch the clamp and release it.

Thanks Blckshdw for the info. I tried this a few days ago. One of the tabs broke on my spring clamp and left me no way to loosen it.

I ended up having to pull the alternator and grind the clamp off with a Dremel Cut off wheel. A true nightmare.
