Apparently the '02 Trailblazers had a factory brush guard as an option, GM part number 12497605, though it was marked in the sales pamphlet as having only "interim availability". Allegedly the main mounting points were the tow hooks.

Has anyone ever even seen one of these? I can't remember seeing one IRL and I've looked through Pink n' Pull's entire national inventory of TB's a couple times and can't spot a single one with this guard. There are none on eBay, and of course the regular GM parts sites don't have any. Do any even exist?

May be as hard to find as a friend of mine's 65 Mustang convertible trunk mounted luggage rack. I have never seen another one and I have never seen the 02 TB Brush Guard.

There is one listed for a 2021-2022 TrailBlazer

I've never seen a Daewoo with a brush guard before

For the "classic" TB, it's probably as rare as the rear spoiler and the roof rack clearance lights. I do believe there were some aftermarket brush guards, front and rear, but have since gone out of production, just like everything else for this platform. I wouldn't want one anyway as this would make changing a headlight bulb a real PITA.

Yea, I work on vehicles in my driveway. I have a regular customer that has a guard at front and any time I do anything on his Silverado truck, that requires any movement over or around that brush guard, it's $20 more.

I found this, amongst other accessories for the Envoy, on GM's site in 2009:
Envoy GrileGuard.jpgIt was part #12497930.
At one time I thought it would be like a police cruiser, but then I realised it would be a pain to work around. It's interesting how many options and accessories were available.
I've never seen one of these either.
