What is this hose for???

Brothers 04 envoy came home dragging this hose, appears to be from the right side under driver seat leading off to God knows where…
More diagnosis when it's not dark and 12 degrees outside

Did you check fluid levels? Could be a tranny line. or AC/heat line if he has an XL.

It leads up to the engine bay, bottom of the intake, looks to be the air injection pump that sits below driver seat on the frame

Ah yes, that pesky system lol. I assumed it's lines would be larger than that. I'm not well versed in it, all I know is that I'm glad that I don't have it.

Well, apparently he "kinda clipped a deer" on his way to work, hair and other nastiness all over under there.
Bent the frame brace on the back, broken air pump hose, and the front diff is leaking a little bit.
