We have this giant thing called the Peace Arch. It has a symbolic gate in the arch chained open. Its in a big public friendly park.

What have you seen when you are crossing in your vehicle?

i have crossed the ambassador bridge going over the detroit river when i went to the Windsor Casino... that bridge lights up beautifully at night...

^ Yep, same here. It's a nice piece of architecture, that's for sure!

We dont really have anything special at the crossing we use when we head up north. We cross on 61 south of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Wow! Could it be that we have the only crossing uniting our two countries that has a monument placed right on the border that symbolizes our North American bond in Peace? :undecided:

Depends on which way I am going....

Rainbow bridge / Niagra falls / Toronto ( just was here Sunday )
Thousand Islands bridge ( I-81)
Ferry from cape Vincent NY to wolffe Island, ON and a second ferry into Kingston, ON

Are the three main ones I use, there are several others.
