wiring

Would anyone know if tb without bose system would still have the wiring in the rear quarter panel for speakers and amp but just not being used.

I'm sure it wouldn't. GM's too cheap, and the speaker wiring would have to be duplicated in the harhess going two places. It was meant to be a factory option only, not an easy field retrofit.

I have a 2002 without Bose and it is not set up for it.

thanks guys i figures as much being how cheap gm is. just means more wires for me to run when i replace the head unit and install an amp.

Quick ? roadie or for some else who may know removing the trim from dash back is it only plastic clips holding it in place or is it screwed in in certain places . thanks been searching and all i can find is about the dash.

If you mean the trim from the FRONT - towards the front of the vehicle - it's clips only.

Talking about the trim on the floor under the doors and the piller between the 2 doors and behind the the 2 rear doors removing it all on both sides to run new wiring. thanks. Want to run rca cables and speakers down 1 side and power down the other.

I had some thin stuff to snake, but did it under the carpet.

You'll be awfully cramped with that many under the trim. I agree with roadie, go under the carpet.
