It's the regulator most likely. As someone said, don't mess with the switch anymore and open up the door and pull it out. The cable may have just come loose from its mount, you just have to reattach it if that's the case. I just did the rear passenger side regulator on mine and if I hadn't...

Drone isn't too bad in the car. Non-existant at highway speed, which I was concerned about.

I bought my catback and had it installed for less than $500. I'm not sure what they were smoking when they quoted you that.

Did you replace the wiper arm ramp too?

Yeah, it was kind of a pain to get the glass back where it was supposed to be but I managed. She's all fixed up now.

Note to self, don't pull the broken regulator out without the new part sitting next to you or the window glass might fall into the door...*facepalm* No damage luckily.

Hit the switch today, window went down but going back up made a grinding/crackling noise and then wouldn't close fully. Had to shove it closed manually and on the drive home it slipped down a bit. I'm guessing it's the window regulator. Seeing as how the dealer will probably charge me an arm...
