Envoy vs. Envoy XL longer but what else is different?

I need a replacement Rear impact bar and bumper cover. There is a Envoy XL available for parts. It is the same color as my Envoy. Will the impact bar and bumper cover be compatible?

If you're talking about the front bumper / bar, yes. Only the Denali trim had a different bumper cover. Pretty much everything up to the A-pillar was the same - maybe even the front doors, as well.

If you're asking about the rear bumper / bar - I'm not sure. I *think* they're the same, but can't say 100%.

Thanks Reprise....yes, it is the Rear....I edited my above post to clarify as that is an important thing I originally left out. I've been trying to cross reference part numbers through GM and see if they match.... Thanks for any input.

Maybe check on car-part.com, search for your truck and part and see if XL's come up in the search. If none do, then they probably don't interchange.

I just looked it up on a GM Parts site and the rear bumper part numbers are the same between the standard and XL versions.

The rear Denali bumper cover is lower to the ground, kinda hides the spare and resonator. Probably costs more tho.
